Laura Scarano is an award-winning filmmaker based in Los Angeles, CA, and Brooklyn, NY, whose work has screened at over 50 film festivals worldwide. She produced a repertoire of feature-length and short films with an emphasis on queer stories.

After studying History of Art & Design at Pratt Institute, she fundraised in nonprofits, helping the next generation of fine artists, filmmakers, and writers share their stories. Throughout her career, her mission has been to elevate creatives, giving them a platform to showcase their work and through it, implement change in the world.

Laura is forever a New Yorker at heart, but in her spare time, you can find her at the nearest dog beach with her over-the-top Labrador Retrievers, Rothko and Eggy.
